Release Blitz: The Proposition by Elizabeth Hayley

Professional hockey player Ben Williamson doesn't quite know how he got himself into this situation; hiring someone to be his date to his brother's wedding is way out of character for him. But with family pressuring him to settle down, going stag just isn't an option. It would just be one more thing his polite, cultured family uses as ammo against him. Ryan Cruz is having a bad day. Wait, make that a bad year. Broke, technically homeless, and living on a friend's couch, she's now also unemployed after her sharp tongue gets her fired from her job. So when a handsome stranger approaches her out of the blue with a proposition--he’ll pay her to be his date to his brother’s wedding for the weekend--accepting his offer is a no brainer. She needs the cash and figures it wouldn't be in the best interest of a professional athlete to murder her. What starts as a simple business arrangement soon becomes more as these opposites attract and get caught up in the wedding magic. Will Ben and Ryan be able to turn their relationship into something more? Or is love based on a proposition too much of an obstacle to overcome?

Ryan heard a “Ben, go after her” from behind her as she hurried toward the door. She thought his mother had said it, but she couldn’t be sure. Her ears were too busy ringing with the force she was exerting to hold back her tears. She’d made it to the driveway before she heard Ben call her name. She ignored him as she made her way to the rental car. He caught up to her right as she reached it. “Ryan,” he breathed. She turned toward him and held out her hand. “Keys.” “What?” he asked, looking flustered. “Give me the keys, Ben.” “No, let me . . . let me take you back. We can talk and—” “I have nothing to say to you. And I’m sure as hell not getting in a car with you.” “Ryan, please let me explain.” “You have. I got the message pretty clearly inside. Seems like everyone else did too. It was quite a show.” Ben ran a hand over his head. “I didn’t mean to say that. It just came out. I was angry, and—” “Jesus Christ, Ben! Stop. You’re not an eighteen-year-old kid anymore. You can’t use your anger as an excuse for saying shitty things. Besides, it’s not like you didn’t say anything that wasn’t true.” Ryan shrugged. “They know the truth about me, and I know where I stand with you. It was for the best.” “That’s not . . . that’s not where you stand with me. You’re more than that.” Ryan laughed humorlessly. “No, I’m not. I’m not even that actually. All I am is an out-of-work waitress who was desperate enough to let some guy think she was an escort.” The startled look on Ben’s face would’ve been comical if it wasn’t for the fact that Ryan was pretty sure she’d never laugh for real ever again. “Wait, you’re not an escort?” “Well, I mean, I guess I am now. Thanks for that resume builder, by the way. But before I met you? No. I was just some girl trying to figure out how she was going to make ends meet after I quit waitressing at a crappy strip club. And then you barged into my life and offered me a better alternative. So I took it.” Ryan had managed to keep her emotions in check, but time was running out on that. “But now it’s over. So give me the keys.” After a moment’s hesitation, Ben pulled the keys out of his pocket, but he toyed with them instead of handing them over. “I don’t want it to be over,” he said softly. “Well, it really doesn’t matter what you want. There’s no coming back from that. We both know it.” “I don’t know that.” She sighed. “Then I guess you never really knew me at all.”     Elizabeth Hayley is actually "Elizabeth" and "Hayley," two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble. It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.

The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.

He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why won’t he give in?

Cover Reveal: The One Night Stand by Elizabeth Hayley

Gabriel Torres thought his life after Major League Baseball would be simple and quiet, or at least quieter. However, as he takes over running the exclusive Players Club, he finds himself continually embroiled in scandal and drama. Surely nothing, and no one could make his life any crazier...Right?

Rachel Adler is a blast from Gabe’s past who crashed back into his life with the finesse of a freight train. But she's a welcome distraction. At least for a night.

Rachel has been working hard to become one of the top sports journalists in the country. She doesn't have time for a long-term romance or irresistibly charming baseball players. A one-night-stand with the man who she knew would hit it out of the park was all she wanted.

But when she gets a tip that Gabe could have ties to one of the biggest sports stories in history, a story that could make her career, Rachel decides that maybe she has a little time for the sexy baseball player after all. As she gets in deeper with both her story and Gabe, Rachel begins to question who she is, what she wants, and what exactly she’s willing to sacrifice for her career.

Will the potential grand-slam romance be stopped short or will Rachel and Gabe be able to go the distance?

About In Between the Earth and Sky:

What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?   Remington Rohan was not a rule follower. Former model (though not one of the super kind), successful influencer and life coach. Currently paid to tell people how to achieve the best from their lives and careers. In other words, a complete contradiction to how he preferred to live namely, on his own terms and without input from others. Everything about his life was going according to plan. Until he started spending way too much time with a woman who defied his prejudices and challenged his beliefs.   Lydia Larkin was not a genius. Gifted, clever, and stubborn. Raised on star maps and Hendrix, she was born an explorer. Temporarily tied down to a private sector science job, she knew she was biding her time before she was off to discover and build something new. Not one to let society tell her who she was, she wasn't about to let a professional influencer tell her she had to change to be happy.   Buckle up and brace for impact.

Exclusive Excerpt:

“You just let yourself in now?” Lydia accused with narrowed eyes and a full mouth. Remington grinned, sliding easily into their special vibe that only existed when they were alone together. Uncomplicated, silly, innocent. “What are you eating?” he asked, closing the door behind him. “Cereal,” she slurped, lifting her chin to catch a dribble of milk off her chin. “Fancy.” “I live the high life. What are you doing here?” “You don’t have a telescope. Someone who looks at the sky as often as you, should have a telescope.” He produced the used item from behind his back and presented it to her. “You bought me a telescope?” she asked. “I bought us a telescope,” he clarified. “At a flea market. So, who knows if it even works all that well,” he added with a shrug. “Hm.” She perked up, her eyebrows lifting into her hairline. “If it’s broken, I can fix it.” “Why doesn’t that surprise me?” He set it aside and came fully into the apartment. He stopped a foot away and eyed her appearance more critically. “What’s wrong with you?” “Rude.” Lydia glared at him before turning her back and taking her cereal bowl to her bed. “No, I mean…something’s different…?” Remington noticed the slight limp in her gait and the slow way she lowered herself onto the mattress. “Are you hurt?” Lydia puffed up her cheeks and blew the air out. “Only literally.” His pulse jumped and he glanced around the apartment. As if expecting to have to fight someone or something. “What happened?” “I am going to be just fine,” she reassured him. “It’s nothing some Advil and a full body massage won’t fix. Do you feel like this all the time?” she asked, shifting with a grimace as she tried to prop her pillow behind her back. “What do you mean?” he asked, crossing to her and assisting with the pillow. “You work out every day, right?” Remington felt a smile slowly spread across his face. “You went to the gym?” She snorted and rolled her eyes. “Yeah. I thought I was in pretty good shape too, but muscles I didn’t even know I had are using horribly foul language on me.” “I’m hurt, Larkin. If you were going to sign up with a trainer, why didn’t you ask me first?” The unamused expression she shot him made him laugh out loud. “I didn’t hire a trainer. My friend Brenda talked me into self-defense classes in the form of Krav Maga.” She slowly stretched her legs out in front of her and winced. “That’s awesome!” he declared. “I do Jui Jitsu!” “Good for you.” She did not sound congratulatory. “If you keep up with it, you won’t have soreness like this,” he told her, shuffling her over so he could join her on the bed. “Finish your cereal, you big kid, and I’ll give you an athletic massage.” She took a bite of her cereal and eyed him with obvious suspicion. “I don’t know if that’s a good idea.” “Why? Because I’ll be touching your body and you’re so uncontrollably attracted to me?” he teased. “Keep it in your pants, Larkin.” “I changed my mind,” she said, swallowing her mouthful. He tilted his head in question. “I thought I was done hating you, but no.” Remington barked a laugh that had him tipping his head back to rest on the wall behind him. “One of these days I’m gonna be a Krav Maga expert and I’m going to kick your ass. Who’ll be laughing then?” He rolled his head to the side to grin at her. “Honestly, that sounds amazing. We can spar each other.” Lydia caught his gaze and she grew quiet. “We already spar.” “I know.” His smile softened. “I love it.”

About Heidi Hutchinson:

Heidi Hutchinson was born in South Dakota and raised the exact right distance away from the Black Hills. She had an overactive imagination very early on, and wasted no time in getting most of her friends in trouble due to her unrealistic and completely ridiculous ideas. Seeing as she was so lazy and also afraid people would think she was bonkers, she didn't write down any of the story lines that played out in her daydreams.   During her high school years, she took pen to paper and filled more notebooks than she is proud of with angsty, depressing, self-deprecating poetry. This led to her writing down more things: notes, ideas, character bios, plot twists that had no plot yet to twist. After years of cleaning up her own scraps of imagination with nothing solid to hold on to, she sat down and wrote the story that had been in her head the longest. Fueled by coffee and her unwavering and perfectly normal devotion to Dave Grohl, she discovered a writer living inside of her.   She still lives in the Midwest, though not as close to the Black Hills as she would prefer, with her alarmingly handsome husband and their fearless child. They eat more pizza than God intended and she listens to her music the same way she lives: loudly.

Title: Forever Right Now
Author: Emma Scott
Release Date: Tuesday, October 24, 2017
Tagline: “Ours isn’t a romance. It’s a love story.”

***STANDALONE new adult romance from the author of The Butterfly Project and the Full Tilt Duet***

Darlene Montgomery has been to hell and back…more than once. After a stint in jail for drug
possession, she is finally clean and ready to start over. Yet another failed relationship is just the
motivation she needs to move from New York to San Francisco with the hopes of resurrecting her
dance career and discovering that she is more than the sum of her rap sheet. As Darlene struggles in
her new city, the last thing she wants is to become entangled with her handsome—but cranky—
neighbor and his adorable little girl...
Sawyer Haas is weeks away from finishing law school, but exhaustion, dwindling finances, and the
pressure to provide for himself and his daughter, Olivia, are wearing him down. A federal clerkship--
a job he desperately needs--awaits him after graduation, but only if he passes the Bar Exam. Sawyer
doesn’t have the time or patience for the capricious—if beautiful—dancer who moves into the
apartment above his. But Darlene’s easy laugh and cheerful spirit seep into the cracks of his
hardened heart, and slowly break down the walls he’s resurrected to keep from being betrayed ever
again.
When the parents of Olivia’s absentee mother come to fight for custody, Sawyer could lose
everything. To have any chance at happiness, he must trust Darlene, the woman who has somehow
found her way past his brittle barbs, and Darlene must decide how much of her own bruised heart
she is willing to give to Sawyer and Olivia, especially when the ghosts of her troubled past refuse to
stay buried.

Forever Right Now Excerpt:

"Who are you?" he demanded rudely, shifting the diaper bag higher on his shoulder while hoisting
his little girl in his other arm. He was six feet of hotness in a rumpled suit, glaring at me with
suspicion in his dark eyes.
"I...I'm your new neighbor?" It sounded more like a question; as if I needed this guy's permission
to live. I straightened to my full height. "I just moved in upstairs. I'm a dancer. Well, I was. Had to
take some time off but I'm going to get back into it soon...ish." I put on my friendliest smile. "I'm a
massage therapist now. Just got my license and..."
My words died under Sawyer's withering stare.
"A dancer. Fantastic," he said bitterly. "Just what I always wanted. Someone leaping and thumping
above me, waking my kid up and disturbing my studies at all hours of the night."
I planted my hands on my hips. "I can't dance in a dinky apartment, and besides..."
Words failed me again as the sharp planes and hard angles of Sawyer's face melted when his
daughter--I guessed her to be about a year old--suddenly clapped her small hand over his chin.
Sawyer's hard gaze softened, and his broad mouth turned up in a smile--a beautiful smile I was sure
only his little girl ever got to see, and so full of love that for a moment I could hardly breathe.

Review

I could tell from the prologue that I was going to love this book. I really loved Darlene. I have a soft spot for a flawed heroine. I understand Darlene wanted to just get over her past but she needed to learn that would only come with acceptance. Oh Sawyer and his whole situation had me so emotional. I know how hard it is to go to school and be a parent but Sawyer was just so determined to do it on his own. I love that he was focused on his goals but he had to learn it was ok to let someone in. This was a slow burn romance and it was perfect for this story. I kinda don’t like people in Darlene’s situation to be looking for love when she should be focused on herself but all the things people said about her finding Sawyer really did sway me to them as a couple. This book hit me with the emotions and I usually don’t let books get to me like that. I think this was really well written and not written to try to make the reader cry but just brought out those real emotions in me.  If you read any book by Emma Scott this year, make sure to pick this one up.

SYNOPSIS
From the New York Times Bestselling Author that brought you The Resistance comes this sexy romantic comedy standalone.
Everything you’ve heard about modeling is true, and you haven’t heard the half of it.
It’s glamorous.
It’s sexy.
And yes, the line between work and reality often blurs.
We’re not just prototypes of perfection. Models have feelings and desires, too. We may be genetically gifted, but we’re still human.
I’m only human. Yes, an extraordinary specimen that earns more in a day than most make in a year, but this eight pack didn’t create itself. I spend hours working on this body. The good looks just come natural. *Winks* Thanks, Mom and Dad.
I’m Danny Weston, Supermodel.
But one path was traded for another when I chose this career. Ten years later, I would trade my career to have it back. To have her back.
Reese Carmichael is the one woman I would give it all up for, and the only one I can’t have. Yet.

EXCERPT
“GOD, I WANT you, Danny,” Simone whispers into my ear. She licks just below it before sliding down over my jaw and biting me.
My hold tightens around her hips, steadying her. I should have seen the bite coming. They all do it, assuming they have to do something extreme to be sexy, to get my attention. Like every other time it happens, I pull back and run my fingers into her hair at the nape of her neck, then tighten my grip.
She gasps and digs her nails into my shoulders while the innocence she’s trying to portray in her eyes fails under the skepticism found in mine. Our bodies are pressed together and heated, the fan not strong enough to cool us down.
Tilting her head back, I kiss the divot at the bottom of her neck, then lick from base to chin, taking my sweet time. Simone’s back arches, pushing her breasts against my chest and she moans in pleasure.
“That is so hot. Keep it up,” a voice intrudes.
Simone sighs, irritated, and pulls away. I turn to the photographer’s assistant standing at the edge of the set just as Simone reveals her frustration by leaning back and swinging her leg over me to stand up. Leisurely, my gaze slides up her lean legs. She’s taller than most women and the heels she’s wearing add another good five inches. Appreciating her physique, I smile and recline back with my hands behind my head while watching her adjust the strings at her hips. Her head snaps up and her eyes narrow on the assistant off set. “If you want us to keep it up, then shut up next time.” She storms off, her shoes clacking loudly against the gray cement floor.
Knowing an angry model needs time, I sit up, and ask, “How much time do we have?”
Everyone is well aware that the mood has changed on the set. Worry creases the assistant’s brow when he answers, “I think, umm… five or ten minutes.”
The guy’s anxiety rolls like waves crashing around me. Feeling bad for him, I reassure, “Don’t worry about her. She’ll be fine. Just give her a few minutes to cool down.”
“Thanks.” He smiles though it’s weak. “Are you doing all right?”
I smile genuinely while standing up. “Yeah, I’m good. Thanks.” When I start to walk, the knit boxer briefs I’m wearing for the shoot tighten uncomfortably, so I stop to adjust. They’re a size too small, so I grab my cock and shift. “Actually, I could use a larger size. These are cutting off my blood circulation down here.”
Before the assistant can respond, two women suddenly appear from the darkened side of the large loft. A cute, petite blonde offers, “Let me take a look. Maybe I can help.” She’s bold, not shy like I would have guessed from the librarian look she’s chosen.
The other lady—taller with some gray strands running through her dark hair—seems new to the modeling world. She stands there staring below my waist, and by the way she’s ogling me, I’m guessing she might be new to naked men in general. Maybe she’s never worked on an underwear campaign before. She clears her throat and finds her voice. “They fit around the waist so I can add more material, if you’d like? But I’ll need them to do that.”
Bypassing the first offer, I accept the second. This is my job. I’m a pro, a model, and used to being naked in front of strangers, so I drop my drawers. I bend down to get them, and when I stand back up I’m greeted with two mouths hanging wide open. “Ladies, you’re gonna make me feel shy,” I tease. I’m not shy at all.
Lifting their chins until both their mouths are closed, I chuckle as they continue to stare unabashedly. The taller woman says, “Oh you have nothing to be shy about.”
“Absolutely nothing,” the blonde adds insistently.
“Thanks,” I reply, my voice it’s usual charm. I hand the boxers to the lady and walk off set to grab my robe. When I slip it on, Becs from wardrobe approaches and says, “I can add some room in there for you. I’ll have them back in ten minutes.”
“I already gave them to the seamstress.”
“What seamstress?” she asks.
“The one over there.” When I turn to the set, they’ve vanished. Scanning the loft from one side to the other, the two women are nowhere to be found. “She was just here with a blonde lady.” Perplexed I scan again. “I have no idea where they went.”
Becs rolls her eyes, shakes her head, and sighs loudly. “Good grief. Not again.” Turning on her heels, she yells out, “Security. We’ve had another breach.” With her eyes narrowed on my waist, she adds, “Tighten the belt. You don’t want anyone selling a photo of your frank ‘n beans to the highest bidder.” Her mood lightening, she smiles and shrugs. “Or maybe you do. I’ll get your next wardrobe change—”
I laugh but point to my privates. “Extra roomy.” Becs waves her hand in the air while walking off.
“Yeah. Yeah. I got it.”

PLAYLIST

Review

I am a sucker for a second chance romance. I really liked Reese and Danny's story. Reese was the love of Danny's life and he was the same for her 10 years ago. Errors on both of their parts caused their breakup. Now Reese is an ad exec and Danny a model. He is the new model in an ad campaign she is working on. I could really see the chemistry between Reese and Danny. Even after all of the years between them as a listener I could still sense the attraction between the two of them. I was so curious to find out why they were apart in the first place. The story offers little flashbacks on their past and how they got to where they are today. I really enjoyed listening to Reese and Danny's story. From the beginning I could tell they were meant to be together but they had so many obstacles, back then and in the present. I felt Reese could have handled the situation better in the past but I see why she did what she did. I can tell it would be hard to be with a model and all that it entails. I really loved Danny. He was not they typical model but maybe that was because he is older or maybe it is because he never stopped loving Reese. I love his relationship with his friend Luke and the advice he would give him. You can tell Danny really is a good guy. Like I say so many obstacles in the present to keep them apart. I think all the conflict in this story was very realistic. I may not know much about a models life but it seemed pretty true to life. This book was humorous at times and very sweet and sexy. I was very satisfied with the ending of this one.

Narration

Kylie Stewart as Reese

Eric Rolon as Danny

This story is told in a dual POV with chapters as Danny and chapters as Reese but the narration style is duet where Kylie Stewart does all the female characters and main narration in Reese's POV and Eric Rolon does all the male characters and the narration in Danny's POV. I am a fan of this narration style and I think these narrators did a good job with this book. I liked Kylie as Reese. Some of her female voices sounded too close to Reese. There was not a lot of distinction between those characters but I still think she did a good job. Eric was really good as Danny. I liked his narration with the other male characters. This was my first book narrated by these narrators and I would listen to another book narrated by them.

Overall I really enjoyed this audiobook. I was really invested in this story. This one is a recommended listen from me.

Release Blitz and Review: Ten Thousand Points of Light by Michelle Warren

Title: Ten Thousand Points of Light
Author: Michelle Warren
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 18, 2017

Blurb

Five years ago an unthinkable tragedy slashed Cait London’s life into two parts: before she had amnesia and after. Determined to keep her past hidden and start over, she moves to Chicago and plunges into a new job—all while keeping a walled distance from everyone she meets.

It’s not long before Cait reconsiders her solitary existence, and soon she’s stepping beyond her boundaries and taking unthinkable chances, like crushing on her impossibly sexy landlord, Evan Wade. He’s flirty, annoying, and with him living in the same apartment building, she can’t stop thinking about him. If she can sleep with him once, perhaps she can get him out of her system. The problem is, Evan seems bulletproof to her advances. As the two develop a connection, it becomes clear Cait may not succeed before her heart remembers what it feels like to love.

Ten Thousand Points of Light is an immersive contemporary romance about the intensity of first loves, the heartache of loss, and the power of forgiveness.

Excerpt

In my bathroom, a man kneels on the floor inspecting a gigantic hole of exposed pipes with the roaming beam of a flashlight. I fold my arms and lean into the doorframe.

When I left to meet Aggie everything was functioning. My gaze examines the small room, picking out details: my expensive towels soak up a deluge of water pooling on the tiled floor, there’s a large pile of powdery, crumbled drywall, and then there’s the issue of ass crack—in my face. It is toned and tight, but still, it’s connected to my landlord, Evan Wade.

“Pipes burst, leaking a damn waterfall into 5A,” he says, not bothering to glance my direction.

“Did you have to use my good towels?” I purse my lips.

“I thought about using your sexy lingerie.” He eyes the laundry basket of delicates now sitting on top of the sink. “But the fancy towels seemed like a better option.”

Thanks, appreciate it.” I sidestep him, snatch the basket, and carry it to my bedroom, hiding it in my closet. If he had scrutinized it closer, which he probably did, he would have found an embarrassing amount of granny panties and more sports bras than a Lululemon.

“How long before it’s fixed?” How long before I can get rid of you?

“A week,” his muffled voice answers.

“What?” I race back only to find his sharky grin. Two vertical dimples slice beneath a permanent, mocha-colored five o’clock shadow. They punctuate his bronzy sun-kissed skin, making his caramel eyes gleam with amused delight. My gaze intensifies.

“Just kidding. And you forgot this one.” Evan tosses me a ball of fabric. I catch it and glance at it. My mouth drops open. A smiling kitten stares back from the crotch of a pair of panties. Pussy panties. My cheek temperature flickers between sweaty hot and icy cold.

“Meow.” He chuckles.

I shove Aggie’s gag gift into the pocket of my running pants. “Funny.” I deadpan to appear unaffected.

Still, Evan seems thrilled for tormenting me. It’s something he’s excelled at since the day we met. It may be I’m still tipsy from drinking, but at recalling his history of irritating jokes, I pause. I cock my head and stare at him in confusion when a doubtful revelation hits me. Is this what Aggie was talking about? Is Evan flirting with me? Has he been flirting all this time?

I shake my head. Impossible.

“It’s too late to get the parts I need. So tomorrow.” He wipes his dirty hands on one of my towels, leaving a dark streak. I bite the inside of my cheek to stop from scolding him.

“That’s not going to work. I have an appointment first thing in the morning and I need a shower.” I gesture to my sweaty T-shirt.

“No kidding, Cat, I can smell you from here.”

“It’s Cait, you ass.” I kick off my loose sneaker, tossing it with my toe in his direction. I aim to nail him in the head but he dodges away. The shoe ricochets off the wall, tumbling to the floor.

His grin widens. “I’m kidding, Miss London. You smell like roses, as always.”

“Seriously, what am I going to do?”

“Can’t you use Gusterson’s shower?” He quirks a surly lip because he already knows the answer—no. Mr. Gusterson lives across the hall, but I’ve never seen the man. I’m unsure anyone has.

For this comment, I kick my other shoe in his direction.

“Ow!” This one smacks his sizable bicep, protecting his handsome face. I suppress a triumphant smile.

Evan crouches and stands in one fluid motion of sinewy muscle. He meets my gaze, and then rakes a hand through his tousled chestnut-colored hair. “Fine. You don’t have to beg, Kitty Cat, you can use mine.” He puffs his chest and flashes his brilliant white grin.

Definitely flirting. Though I shouldn’t be surprised. How many times in the last year had I seen him at Mr. Moon’s Coffee House, sitting at a table and flirting with some girl? There were too many times and too many girls to count.

Evan takes his time sliding past, I think, purposely brushing the heat of his body near me. I pin myself against the wall, unwilling to allow our skin to touch. When will he grasp how annoying I find him?

“I’ll pass.” I latch my hands on my hips. This is me sending a clear message. I’m not flirting.

“Suit yourself.” Unswayed, he lumbers for the door.

“What about these tools?” I gesture to his mess.

“I’ll be back tomorrow.” He turns, arms wide, palms skyward and strolls backward with a confident teeter. He’s hitting me with his smile again and those damn dimples, like they’ll make this situation better.

My teeth clench. If I had something else to throw at him I would. When he disappears, I remove my cell from my pocket and text Aggie. Before I do, I glance at my front door, which he left wide open. His footfalls descend the stairs to his apartment on the first floor.

Review

Wow. What can I say about this book. I really enjoyed Cait's journey in this story. Something happens to Cait where she had retrograde amnesia. She is stuck in this after stage of her life. She has no memories of her life before. This book is hard to review without spoilers but as Cait learns about her life so do we as the reader. Cait tries to close herself off from everything and everyone. Her after life is filled with doubts and insecurities. Luckily she has people in her life that refuse to let her live that way and little by little she becomes who she was before. This book is about love, loss and finding love again. I was so hooked into this book I was sneak reading at work. I really hope you choose to go on this journey with Cait and read this book. This is a recommended read from me.
